Security
Playa Chiquita is a small village on the Caribbean coast, so the attitude is mainly worry-free. However, petty theft is a problem throughout Costa Rica. A little common sense and caution goes a long way. Your hosts live on the property and each bungalow has a safe for valuable items.
Quality Linens & Bedding
No matter how you spend your days, when you turn in for the night while staying with us you will feel the comfort of cotton linens, soft pillows, quality mattresses, and fluffy organic/cotton towels.
Tour & Transportation Bookings
We make it easy to arrange all the activities listed on our site that you may be interested in by working with the tour providers in the area. We’ll help you research the tours you want, book them and arrange your transportation there.
Our Reception & Restaurant
Our Reception is located at the front of our property and is open daily. It houses our library, tour & rental info & plenty of seating for all of our guests to enjoy! There is a large covered patio for all meals or just lounging and enjoying the sounds of nature. If you feel like playing a board game just ask! We have several that we are happy to lend out.
This is also home to our newly renovated Restaurant. We offer all meals throughout the day with the restaurant open from 8am-9:30am for Breakfast. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, local organic coffee, juice and either a sweet or savory dish. Mornings are a great time for guests to socialize and enjoy the jungle setting. We believe that everyday should begin with a great meal and it is a goal of ours to provide that for our guests.
